Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge # 58
Here's the photo of Karen's lovely sketch, and my attempt at making a card.
I am planning to give this card to my dear friend Karen for her birthday next week. Let me know what you think.

February Fun - Stamp a Stack!
I couldn't help but count the days this wek until February 25th. The reason? My new friend and fellow demonstrater, Debi Kyle hosted our monthly Stamp a Stack at her lovely home. Our team of demonstrators, including Jeri, Debi, and Jeannie grouped together and invited our friends and family to come and enjoy a night of card making. it was a group effort and it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
My aunt Becky and her friend Joanne came with me. Joanne is an experienced card maker, and she said that she absolutely loves crafting. My aunt Becky, however, is newer to scrapbooking and just came for a fun night. However, as we strolled in together, she took one look at all of the ladies who had their materials spread out on tables and quietly mentioned, "This is serious."
I can't wait until the next Stamp a Stack! For those of you who are interested in joining our group, please visit my Stampin' Up! website for more infortmation.

Work in Progress
My friend Jeannie and I are preparing these projects for a horse show in March that my daughter is participating in. Since we both enjoy crafting, especially paper crafting, we are going to team up and offer a few crafts at the show, including the purse (once it is finished!)

Club Create Photos!
One of my guests wanted to show off her scrapbook, as it was for another family member. I thought that she did amazing!
I also was so happy that my friend Jeannie came, as she gave me some great advice and helped me add some special flares to some of my creations. Thanks Jeannie!
Unfortunately, we couldn't have much peace and quiet. One of our dogs decided that we were neglecting her and she wanted attention, so she climbed onto our scrapbook table. Also, one of the younger girls brought "Just Dance!" on the Wii, and they spent some time playing with it. Their favorite song to dance to? African Tribal Music. It certainly brought on some good laughs!
