Raffle basket - part III

Short post today. Just wanted you to see one of the other gifts in the raffle basket. I don't know about you, but I am always looking for something to write on. Funny thing is, being a paper crafter, I AM A PAPER FANATIC! Go figure!! I love paper, but sometimes I tend to hoard it for something special. That being said, I thought it was about time I did something with these little scratch pads. What do you think?

I have one more raffle gift to show tomorrow.

Stamps: Polka Dot Punches
Ink: Real Red, Rose Redl, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip cardstock, Sending Love DSP
Accessories: Large heart punch, miscellaneous ribbon, RSVP pen

Be Blessed,

Shannon Willis

Some Cards

Last weekend I was so happy that I spent pretty much all weekend in my scrap room. That doesn't happen very often as there are so many things that need my attention. It was so nice to just play with my stamps and paper and not have anything to prepare for.

I love the elegance of Black and White. I got out one of my favorite stamp sets, Baroque Motifs and used it to create this card I had seen on MoJo Monday Sketch challenge. It was really simple and took only a few minutes to make.
If you would like to order the products used to make this project, you can do so by clicking HERE.
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Ink: Classic Black
Paper: Whisper White and Basic Black
Accessories: Black polka dot ribbon, 1 3/8" Square Punch, Modern Label Punch and embossing folder
Be Blessed,
Shannon Willis

Card Club

Since changing the format of my card classes a bit, everyone is very excited about the new projects we will be working on. Each month we will create two cards and one 3-D/Scrapbook layout using new products and featuring a new technique. In preparation, I made each of my friends this cute little book to put the sample technique featured at that class. I made these little books using the Top Note die.

June Class Project - Scrapbook in a Tin

Attached are photos of the scrapbook in a tin that we will be making at our monthly class. These tins make adorable gift ideas. The cost of the class will be $18.00 and will include all materials needed to complete this project, and as always, will include refreshments and a light snack. If you are interested in this class, I will need pre-payment as the tins will need to be ordered. Please click the Pay Pal button to enroll in the class so your kit can be ordered. Deadline for ordering is Saturday, June 5th.

Money Envelope

I have been using the money envelope system for sometime now. I won't say that I am perfect at it, but using cash does make you think twice about buying something (unless it is scrapbooking supplies or purses). The envelopes I am using now came from Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace seminar and are worn out. During my blog hopping, I saw a post on http://kelleighratzlaff.com/ and wanted to make one for myself. Kelleigh did a great job with the tutorial and even has a place to download the template. I put my own spin on it by adding binding, my own labels and an envelope for coupons in the back. I am really happy with the way it turned out. As it turns out, Kelleigh uses the money envelope system too.

Nanny's Christmas Gift

Wow, it has been sometime since I have updated my blog. The holidays sure are time consuming. I wanted so much to spend time crafting, but like every year, I was running around like a mad woman. I did have enough time to make this album for my mother-in-law. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Finished Project

I finished my note card project and am very happy with the way it turned out. I used the new Designer Paper Razzelberry Lemonade. Right now, this is my favorite paper. I love the bright colors.

Now to get my room cleaned up before my cousin and aunt come over the scrapbook.

My sweet little boy

Wow, how time flies. I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my blog. I have been working alot lately and realize I am so far behind.

I spent last weekend working on the invitations to my son Kody's eighteenth birthday party. I am really happy with the way they turned out.
